About Our Founder, liz Darnell

Liz has dedicated her career to the communities around her, leveraging her passion for data and technology to make a tangible difference. Her journey began in grassroots organizing in Wyoming, where she quickly transitioned from field to focusing on data and tech in campaigns. This expereince has honed her expertise in transforming complex data into actionable insights, bridging the gap between thorny data concepts and non-technical audiences.

She holds a Master of Science in Social Data Analytics from University College Dublin, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Political Science from the University of Wyoming. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Technical University Dublin in Computer Science. Liz combines her academic background with her real-world experience to drive meaningful change. Her work is a reflection of her core values: grace, integrity, joy, connection, and boldness — principles that guide her, professionally and personally.

When she's not immersed in spreadsheets or diving into a problem, Liz finds joy in the outdoors with her dog, Peter. Liz loves to travel and explore new places. When traveling she loves to find new coffee roasters and trails to explore. She also enjoys playing music, particularly the mandolin and banjo.
